Refunds & Cancellation

A UniProfile report is digital content, delivered promptly by email. This policy explains your right to cancel, the immediate-delivery exception, and when we will — and will not — refund you.

What you're buying

A UniProfile report is digital content: a PDF intelligence report on a single UK university, compiled from official public data — HESA, the Office for Students, UKVI and UCAS — and presented with UniProfile's independent editorial assessment. Reports are delivered by email, normally within 1 business day of purchase.

Your right to cancel — and the immediate-delivery exception

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase for a full refund. Because our reports are digital content delivered promptly, this works as follows.

This exception is permitted under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We highlight it clearly so your consent is informed.

When we will refund you

We will issue a full refund where:

  • you cancel before your report has been delivered;
  • we are unable to produce a report for the university you selected (for example, it is outside our dataset), and you do not want an alternative;
  • you were charged in error or accidentally purchased a duplicate — tell us before delivery;
  • a report contains a material factual error in the official data we reproduced, and we cannot promptly correct and re-issue it.

We may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund or goodwill credit in other circumstances.

When we will not refund you

We will not normally refund you:

  • after a report has been delivered, where it has been produced correctly from the official data and to the specification you chose — a change of mind about the contents or our opinion is not grounds for a refund. Our assessments are editorial opinion; you are paying for the analysis, not for a particular verdict;
  • where you selected the wrong university, level or report type and the report has already been delivered. Tell us before delivery and we will fix it at no charge.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Email support@uniprofile.co.uk with your order reference (on your Stripe receipt) and the university name from your order. We aim to respond within 1 business day.

Approved refunds are made to your original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Corrections

If we identify, or you report, an error in a delivered report, we will issue a dated correction in line with our corrections policy, where every correction is logged publicly.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
