Terms of Use & Disclaimer

These terms govern your use of the UniProfile website and any report you obtain from it. Please read them carefully — they explain what a UniProfile rating is, and what it is not.

Last updated · 7 June 2026

Nature of the Service

UniProfile publishes opinions about UK higher education institutions. Each rating, score, and verdict on this website represents the editorial opinion of UniProfile based on data drawn from publicly available sources at the date stated on the report. Ratings are not statements of fact about any institution and should not be construed as such. UniProfile is not a credit rating agency authorised under the Credit Rating Agencies Regulation, and its ratings are not credit ratings within the meaning of that Regulation.

Not Advice

Content published by UniProfile is for general information only. It does not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, financial advice, investment advice, immigration advice, educational guidance, legal advice, or a recommendation to apply to, enrol at, accept an offer from, or decline an offer from any institution. Readers must take their own decisions and should seek professional advice where appropriate.

Sources and Accuracy

UniProfile draws on data published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency, the Office for Students, UK Visas and Immigration, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, the Charity Commission, and other public bodies. While UniProfile takes reasonable care in handling this data, it does not independently verify the underlying figures published by these sources and gives no warranty as to their accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any purpose. Any errors in the source data will be reflected in UniProfile's outputs.

Point-in-Time Opinions

Every UniProfile rating is a point-in-time view based on the most recent official data available at the date of publication. Institutions' circumstances change. UniProfile updates ratings as new official data is released but is under no obligation to do so within any particular timeframe and accepts no liability for changes in an institution's position between updates.

Methodology

UniProfile's analytical framework, thresholds, and weightings are proprietary. UniProfile reserves the right to amend its methodology at any time without notice. Historical ratings should not be assumed to have been produced under the methodology currently in force.

No Endorsement or Affiliation

Names, logos, and identifiers of universities and other institutions referenced on this website are used for identification only. UniProfile is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any of the institutions it rates. References to an institution do not imply that the institution has supplied information to, or co-operated with, UniProfile.

Purchases, Delivery & Refunds

A UniProfile report is digital content, delivered by email normally within one business day of purchase. By completing a purchase you ask us to begin preparing and delivering your report straight away, and you acknowledge that once it has been delivered you lose the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply to digital content under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You keep a full-refund right until your report is delivered. Cancellations, refunds and the immediate-delivery exception are set out in full in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniProfile, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise — arising from any use of, or reliance on, the content of this website or any UniProfile report. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, UniProfile's total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount that user paid to UniProfile in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Right of Reply

Any institution that believes a UniProfile rating or report contains a factual inaccuracy may submit a correction request to corrections@uniprofile.co.uk. UniProfile will review submissions in good faith and, where an inaccuracy in the underlying data or its handling is confirmed, will correct the report and note the correction in its public corrections log.

Governing Law

These terms and any dispute arising from the use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
